This package includes all transfers, a domestic flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara, all accommodations, and all meals. Here is a detailed day-by-day plan for your trip.

Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara National Park

Your journey commences with a pickup in Nairobi, followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport for a brief domestic flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon reaching Masai Mara, you'll be guided to your lodge for a delightful lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive in Mara.

The Maasai Mara National Park, commonly known as The Mara, stands as a vast national wildlife reserve in Kenya's Narok region, intricately linked to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Named after the Maasai tribe, it is globally renowned for being one of Africa's most celebrated conservation and wilderness areas, famed for its extraordinary concentrations of lion, leopard, cheetah, and African bush elephants. Notably, the Maasai Mara is a key site for the Great Migration, acknowledged as one of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders.

Throughout the year, visitors may encounter the "Big Five" — lion, African leopard, African bush elephant, African buffalo, and black and white rhinoceros. The Mara River hosts populations of hippopotamuses and Nile crocodiles, while the grasslands between the Mara River and the Esoit Siria Escarpment are unparalleled for lion and cheetah sightings. The primary residents of Maasai Mara are wildebeest, and the region is home to millions of these iconic animals.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, a morning drive awaits before embarking on a journey to the renowned Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, a transfer to the hotel will precede a satisfying lunch, setting the stage for an afternoon game drive within the vast expanse of the Serengeti. The northern part of Serengeti is seamlessly connected to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, while the southern reaches are linked to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The Serengeti is globally acclaimed for hosting the world's largest annual animal migration, featuring approximately 1.5 million blue wildebeest, 250,000 zebras, and smaller herds of Thomson's gazelle and eland. It is also home to Africa's most substantial lion population, alongside numerous herds of African bush elephants, African buffalos, and black rhinoceros. The carnivorous residents include cheetahs and hyenas.

The Serengeti's landscape is a tapestry of diversity, encompassing savannah, steep woods, and open meadows. This varied topography is a result of the region's extreme weather conditions, characterized by a potent blend of heat and wind. The Mara River, flowing from the Kenyan highlands to Lake Victoria, runs through the Maasai Mara National Reserve, serving as the sole continually flowing river in the Serengeti ecosystem.

A brief respite during the day will allow you to relish a picnic lunch, after which our adventures will resume. As the day draws to a close, we will return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
